Advocate Charter Fishing is moored at Shumway Marine on the Genesee River (map) in Rochester New York. The waters of Lake Ontario just north, east and west of the River offer some of the finest fishing in New York State. The area offers all types of fishing with special emphasis on Salmon (King and Coho), Brown Trout, Steelhead and Lake Trout.

The Irondequoit Bay waters, just 3 miles east of the river, offer a warm water fishery, I.e., Northern Pike, Small and Large Mouth Bass, in addition to a great spring Brown Trout fishery. More
